A unique Gem in Paris with it's cobblestone streets, little Cafés and artists painting in the streets.
It is also here where you can sip a glass of wine from one of the last working vineyards within the city limits, Le Clos de Montmartre.

# 1: Sacré-Cœur Basilica
The Basilica stands on top of the hill in Montmartre, overlooking the entire city of Paris and its suburbs.
From the Terrass Hotel where we stayed, it is a 15-min walk up to the Sacré-Coeur or just a 10-min walk to the Funicular (a type of cable railway system).
The Basilica is open every day from 6:30a.m till 10.30p.m and is free to enter.
For some stunning panoramic views of Paris, climb the dome!
Access to the dome is outside on the left and is open every day from 10.am till 7p.m. Entry tickets cost €6.
There is no elevator to the top, and there are 300 steps to climb!
# 2: Place du Tertre
One of the most famous squares in Paris.
Here you will find artists presenting their artwork or painting portraits.
The square can get very crowded and the restaurants in this area are more expensive than the ones in the side alleys, and the food isn't that good.
Tip: Use the Credit Card from Wise with great exchange rates, when paying for your activities.
# 3:Moulin Rouge
Dive into a dazzling universe of the most famous Caberts of Paris.
It is much more spectacular in the evening...
Where to eat?

# 4: Strolling along the Streets
Famous for its artistic heritage, Montmartre has a distinctive village atmosphere with steep, winding, cobbled streets.
The Sacré Coeur church is its highest point. The area in front of the church offers great views of Paris.
Visiting Montmartre is now one of the top ten things to do as a tourist in Paris. The best way to explore this wonderful neighborhood is on foot.
Where to eat?
In a small side Alley of Montmartre, a very good little Italien Restaurant. Try the Penne al Arrabbiata.
You can find traditional French food here.
# 5: Wall of Love
Le Mur des je t'aime, where the words "I love you" are written in 311 Languages.
It is open for viewing Monday through Friday from 8a.m and is free.
The best time to go is early in the morning.
